Although Tim trains all the dogs to a set of standards for successful completion, he realizes that no two dogs are the same and therefore they are all treated and trained in the method that will bring out the most in each dog. Tim has a proven record effectively training dogs from very shy or timid to outgoing and strong willed.

Top Notch Retrievers is a family owned and operated business located just outside of Lexington, Texas, about 45 minutes east of Austin. Whether you are looking for a hunting companion or would like your dog to compete in hunt tests we have a service for you. In addition to retriever training we offer companion dog obedience training and private lessons for the owner that wants to train their own dog but occasionally needs some professional help along the way.
